I think that when your work place assigns you a phone and allows you to take internal support calls, it officially means that I will not be a shipper anymore. At least, that's what I think. Some people might think differently. Only time can tell... :) But none the less, I'm still enjoying my IT position, so it's officially all good. :) Been up to a great deal in the last couple of months, hence my not so good posting average. But it's all for the best. So I guess, what I'm saying is that all is good and well at the present. Let's hope it lasts the night... (if you've seen LOTR, you'll get this one).

My ceramics painting is getting better and better. I'm actually making a name for myself in that field too. They say that to be the master, you must look to the master, learn from the master, become the master and eventually overcome the master. Well I'm at the become the master part. Or so I have been told recently by my teachers. I personally don't think so but who am I to argue with them?

Recently, I've been in a sort of slump. I feel tired all the time, I've lost alot of energy that I used to have. Guess I'll have to start working out again. It's a matter of getting yourself started. Once you are started, it's a matter of keeping yourself motivated but that's what I lack, motivation.

As for my personnal life, it's pretty standard, nothing really happening there. I mostly spend my time between seeing my friends as much as I can, tweaking my small home network, playing GuildWars, Painting, Listening to http://www.icebergradio.com/radio/progpower/ . That's about it.

I won't promise anything this time. If I update, so be it, if I don't, well, I don't.

Keeping the busy, busy.

Aug. 18th, 2005 | 01:26 pm

I've basically been so busy that I've been having some problems keeping up with things. Not to mention that I had planned to be able to update a bit more but unfortunately, due to my now more than busy schedule, I can't seem to update as much as I want. I tend to fall asleep real quickly these days. On days, where sleep doesn't come, my big boy( my cat Tiger ), comes and sleeps on his daddy while he purrs in my ear, I fall asleep and then he goes sleep on my computer chair, his good old bed.

Anyhow, I've been trying to catch up on alot of things lately, the first of which is getting up to date on what's been happening with the people I have in my friends list. I'm really trying hard to make time to update more but I unfortunately don't have that much time on my hands. My job is keeping me really busy. I'm shifting between two posts now. 1) being a shipper and 2) being an IT guy. So that usually keeps me pretty busy. The days go by faster. :)

Anyhow, for all the lurkers out there, hello again. :) I hope I still have some people lurking in here. If so, drop me a comment, just say Hi. :)

The little precious of my life.

Well, my little cousin/god child was born yesterday at 8h41am. She's really cute. Her birth got me thinking about alot of things. For instance, every path we choose in life has alot of consequences even the most boring paths have repercussions. Maybe it's just the old pagan in me. Yes, for those who didn't know, I am a pagan. I don't practice much but I follow some of their beliefs as some of them are logical.

Anyways, I've said all that I have for now. I'll post more later. :)

a long time ago.

A long time ago, I think it's something along the lines of 15 years ago, I thought that me and a certain person were going to end up together in life. Everything was pointing in that direction. Everybody was saying that it would be that way. 15 years later, you look back at that situation and what came out of it and realise that life is weird. One wrong turn somewhere can break so many paths. It's weird how the way you navigate through the paths influence the way your life will end up. Sometimes, the paths are good, sometimes the paths are bad. Tonight I was watching My So Called Life(reruns of course) and it just got me thinking back to those times. That show had a way to get your brain into thinking mode. Odd, but that's one of the reason I used to watch that show.

I know, I haven't posted in a verry long time. What can I say, I've been pretty busy. I should be able to start posting again in a few weeks.

Life in general & Music...

music: Erik Mongrain - Percusien.Fa & Pascale Picard - Thinking Of It.

Ok, so half this post will be in english and half will be in french. Sorry for those it may offend but french is my main language. :) I was thinking, not so long ago about the last day of high school for me and my friends and I keep on being amazed at what we've become. None of us have followed the plans we had made. Most of us have reached goals, but not our ultimate goals. Many of us, have changed them. I for one, have changed my plans drastically. I went from wanting to be a capitalist freak, to a being an Open Source supporter and a fair trade supporter. What happened is quite simple. I started off changing my views on the world, that also brought me to changing OS on my computer. From their, I became a Linux hacker and started supporting different causes in the FLOSS world. Then my best friend introduce me to fair trade coffee/chocolate/etc. And I got a degree as a Network Administrator. I became a Linux specialist and work mostly out of it. Funny how it turned out.

And now, for the french part / Et maintenant, en grande première, un message en français. :)

Alors, pour ceux qui regarde mon journal et qui aime la musique, je vous conseille fortement l'album des Pourris De Talent. Pourquoi vous me demanderez.

New Old Friends. :)

music: Nothing for now.

Well the title says it all. Last saturday, a friend of mine had a private launch for his new CD. The thing is, I hadn't seen him in about four years. We talked once in a blue moon on ICQ. Anyhow, suffice it to say that he invited me and I had a chance to talk with alot of people that I had wanted to get back in touch with. Especially Marie, Alex, John and Tanya. John is the one was doing the launch. After his show, I stayed a while to talk with him and some of the other guests and then I wanted to leave but I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Mary that saw me putting my coat on and she headed over to talk as we didn't have time all night. We chatted a while and it go me thinking that I really had to be there. These were the people that were missing in my life. ie: Those were the friends that I had to let go because of my ex-girlfriend. And now, things are on the way to recovery. Or at least, that's how it looks to me. :)

On another note, I have been thinking a lot more these last couple of weeks. Alot of new and exciting things are happening in my suroundings and it's all good. :)

Odds And Ends

Feb. 14th, 2005 | 08:14 pm

I haven't posted in almost a month. Wow, and I had said that I would try to post more. Guess that's not working for me. The only thing new are my ceramic painting courses. Both I and my little sister are taking the courses. It's our little time alone with each other, every saturday for 12 weeks. They may last longuer and we might take an advanced course after this one. Oh and even if I don't post much, I still lurk around when I have a chance. So don't worry. I read only a couple of journals now and then and the owners of these journals know who they are. I don't see the need to divulge any more info.

The day we celebrate a birth that I couldn't care less for. :)

Seriously, I've never been a huge fan of religion. To be quite frank, I think all religions should be banished from the world. That would solve a good deal of problems. Not all of them but... Anyways, I don't have long because I've got another party today so, basicly, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! all the best. Let's all join in and hope that dillweed BUSH won't bring a war upon us in the new years. Ok, so other than that, my life is going well, I mostly work and sleep. Tiger is well and sleeping. He's been getting a bit of turkey and ham so he's mostly in a purring mood. I suspect he'll want to post soon.

Anyways, off to shower and away I go to my little sister's party. :)

I haven't been up to update my journal before now. I had a big post planed out. I was going to post about how I thought that the american elections were probably rigged up after hearing so many american people pissed off about Bush and his actions. But then, I had plenty of chances to get this out already so I won't bore you to death with that. Then, I had planned on doing a post about old thoughts that had been running in my head for a verry long time, about old friends, about my old dog, about life in general, about my phylosophie et al. But then, I just decided not to. Don't ask me why I'm updating I have no clue. There haven't been any significant changes in my life, at the moment. Except for the fact that I've found myself a job and am working 9h00 to 5h00 all week. Other than that, things are normal. I don't have time to complete this entry but I will finish it later. If I have a chance.
